Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your phone, tablet or computer when you visit. They let the site, or a service the site uses, recognise your device and remember information about your visit. Similar technologies, such as scripts that collect information about how a page is used, work in much the same way, and we refer to them all as “cookies” in this policy.

This website, hugosmobiletyres.co.uk, is run by Hugo's Mobile Tyres Ltd (Company No. 16282413, registered in England & Wales). Our address is Cherwell Farm, Southfleet Road, Bean, Dartford, Kent DA2 8BS.

Cookies and technologies we use

Analytics: Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4

We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 on our pages. Google Analytics helps us understand how people find and use the site, for example which pages are visited, how long people stay and roughly where in the UK visits come from, so we can improve it. It sets analytics cookies including:

• _ga: distinguishes one visitor from another. It typically lasts up to 2 years.
• _ga_* (for example _ga_ABC123): keeps track of your visit (session) on our site. It typically lasts up to 2 years.

The information is collected by Google on our behalf and is reported to us in aggregate. We don't use it to identify you personally. More detail is in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Google Fonts

Our text fonts are loaded from Google's servers (Google Fonts). When your browser requests a font, Google receives your device's IP address, as it would with any web request. Google states that Google Fonts doesn't set cookies, but we mention it here so you know the request is made.

Quote and contact forms: Web3Forms

When you submit our quote form, the details you enter are sent to Web3Forms, a form-processing service, which forwards them to us by email. Web3Forms only receives information when you choose to submit a form. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle those details.

Strictly necessary cookies

Apart from the analytics cookies above, we don't set our own (first-party) tracking or advertising cookies. The site doesn't need any cookies to work, and you can browse it fully with cookies blocked.

How to manage or delete cookies

You can block or delete cookies, including the Google Analytics cookies, in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies won't stop the site from working. The usual places to look are:

• Google Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies / Delete browsing data. Chrome help
• Safari (iPhone, iPad and Mac): on iPhone/iPad, Settings › Apps › Safari › Advanced / Clear History and Website Data; on Mac, Safari › Settings › Privacy. Safari help
• Mozilla Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data. Firefox help
• Microsoft Edge: Settings › Privacy, search, and services / Cookies and site permissions. Edge help

If you use another browser, its Help menu will explain how to manage cookies.

Opting out of Google Analytics

You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data on any website by installing Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Changes to this policy

Please note: if we add, remove or change any of the tools or cookies used on this website, we'll update this policy and the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
